Learn to Skate
Age 3 - 12
Our Learn to Skate programs are designed to help skaters of all ages and abilities develop balance, control, and confidence on the ice.
Young skaters learn fundamental skating skills for all ice sports.
Beginners welcome!
Figure Skating
Passed CanSkate Badge 4
Skaters learn fundamental figure skating skills.
Intro to Star can be taken to enhance skating skills for all ice sports.
Higher levels focus on advanced figure skating skills.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are available to skaters in our Figure Skating programs.
Private lessons are billed directly by each coach and are not included in club fees.
For private lessons, please contact coaches directly for their rates and availability.
Ice Show
Every two years the Stouffville Skating Club runs a full production Ice Show where our skaters have the opportunity to perform in costume for the community.
All skaters must register to participate. Extra fees cover ice show costs and costume rentals.
Program Assistants
Intermediate and Senior skaters at least 12 years old can volunteer to help our coaches with our Learn to Skate programs.
Program Assistants will receive volunteer hours that count towards their high school diploma.
Guest Skating
Guest skating for non-members is available on our intermediate and senior sessions, space permitting.
Please contact us in advance to arrange Guest Skating.
