Board Members

The Stouffville Skating Club is led by a board of volunteer members who come together once a month to guide the operation of the club.

The Board of Directors is responsible for the legal, financial and governance responsibilities for the Stouffville Skating Club. Their focus is to ensure that the club has a strong financial standing to enable the Club to deliver its programs for skaters and families in our community.

The Board of Directors is elected at the Annual General Meeting and additional members may be added to the board to fill vacancies or a pressing need. The officers of the Club, President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary are appointed from amongst the elected directors.

Many board members may choose to take on other volunteer roles in support of club operations. Each role is vital to running the skating club smoothly. Feel free to explore our many club volunteer roles.

Refundable Volunteer Fee

To encourage sufficient volunteer participation in 2026-2027, the club has decided to implement a volunteer surcharge. This surcharge will be added once per family to your invoice during registration. 

Election to the Board of Directors will allow the refund of the volunteer surcharge that was added to your invoice.
